Letter from the President

Dear Dolphin Parents,

Thank you for such a GREAT turn out for our parent information meeting on March 31st! There were many new families, and I hope we were able to answer most of your questions. We are looking forward to a fun and exciting 2008 summer swim season. I want to take time to thank our webmaster, Christina Anderson, for her diligent work in the transition and upgrade of our website. The changes she has made will enhance our communication and community visibility. Check out the sponsor page to see the businesses that support our team. Please thank them as you patron their businesses. If you are still undecided about joining the Dolphin family this summer, remember to “try us” out on May 6th and 8th at 6:30pm at the DRC. Coach Rachel will be glad to discuss any questions you may have about your swimmer or the team expectations. This is a Summer Olympic year, and it will be a summer of FUN and accomplishment as your children develop in the sport of swimming while meeting new friends.

Announcements

Welcome Sarah Wurdeman - our new Assistant Coach. She has had experience as a lifeguard and swim instructor at the DRC and Rock River Rapids. She has also participated in competitive swimming at the High School level. She is a manager at Rock River Rapids this summer.

Important Information

Indoor practices begin May 13th at the DRC, with daily outdoor practice beginning May 27th at Rock River Rapids. Please remember to register your swimmer by May 22nd, to avoid a late registration fee.
